For the last 26 years, I’ve had the pleasure of recording, mixing and/ or mastering many thousands of singles, E.P.’s and albums, in just about every genre of music.
Over the years I have noticed several things that home recording enthusiasts, newer studio engineers, and even some rather experienced mix engineers do that limits the quality and potential of the mixes they send in to be mastered.
Mixing is an incredibly complex subject, so this info is intended to be a brief overview to help you maximize the potential of your tracks.
